The German-American Rod and Gun Club was founded in 1935 and is a social club within the
Troy German Hall Association.
It owns property in rural Rensselaer County near the Tomhannock Reservoir, where meetings are held.
In September, a Pig Roast is held on the property. This is the Clubs major fundraisers of the year and is supported by members and friends of Germania Hall.
The mission of the Club is to promote and advance German culture, heritage, and tradition through its conservation efforts, hunting and fishing activities.
The club currently meets the second Wednesday of every month, usually at the club grounds.
There is no humting or shooting allowed
on Club Grounds.
